Corby Gets a Smile a Day for 20 Years

Schappelle Corby's Mother explained to ACA today how she felt about the decision to extend her daughter's sentence, as well as the shock of her sons recent drug and theft conviction.

'Numb' she said. 'We were in a daze [when we heard], we didn't know what was going on.'

After the cones wore off though, Corby's mother realised the full shock.

The mother is now worried about her other daughter, Mercedes. She is also concerned of how she will continue the family business with two of their drug runners behind bars.

The Far Side has recently been notified of the 'Share a Smile' project for Corby.

The project is aimed at sending Corby a 'smile a day'. The instructions on the website include;

"1. Download the graphic...
2. Print out on coloured paper [so she gets variety]
3. Write your name and address on the back side [so Schapelle knows who sent it]
4. Put in an envelope and address to Schapelle via Kerobokan Prison"

Other variations of the smile include 'sativa smile', 'desert-mouth smile', 'water-eyes smile', and 'munchies-smile'.

The site also suggests printing the graphic out on tally-hos so that Corby has sufficient rolling paper.

Similarly, the smile can be sent to Corby's mother with appropriate cash, what variety of dope you would like, and a return address for the goods to be sent.

Corby has also had time to post on a livejournal, detailing her struggle from behind bars. The Corby padlock is also worth a look.
