Possible Link Between Rogue Sunglasses and Al-Qaeda

Over the last fortnight, dozens of families, holiday-makers, and professional photographers have reported findings of 'random photographs' among their possessions.

Left: A young Indonesian couple in Sydney were shocked to find this photo of an Hispanic-looking teen among their family snaps.

Australian Federal Police Inspector, Steve Stevenson, told the Far Side that taskforce 'FLASH!' has been established to investigate the photographs.

'Working in unison with the FBI, we have accumulated information that suggests the photographs have only one frightening link - all the subjects are smiling.'

Before this article went to press, Inspector Stevenson confirmed that Police were also adamant of a second link.

'We have reason to believe that the subjects may also be wearing the same pair of sun shades,' Stevenson told the Far Side.

Right: Ranch-owners, Bill and Maude of Texas, USA were 'frightened' upon finding this sepia portrait as their Windows background.

Stevenson did not deny claims that the Police suspected a possible Al-Qaeda link.

'At this moment we are going on a hunch,' the Inspector told the Far Side.

'The FBI commander who dreamt of weapons in Iraq has had a vision of Osama Bin Laden in these very glasses.

'He is very valuable in our reconnaissance division, and we have full faith in his predicament.'

Left: In the most disturbing of the reported cases, a child, or possibly; dwarf, was pictured in this photograph found among ATO files at Mossman.

Experts believe that staring at the subject's spiralled shirt may cause hallucination or inspire terrorist desires.

The whereabouts of the glasses has not yet been determined.
